Parental app that monitors texts

What’s the best parental control app that helps monitor texts without going overboard?

Eyezy is a parental control app that allows monitoring of text messages while maintaining user privacy settings. It provides detailed reports and customizable monitoring options.

Not sure if it’s “best practice,” but a lot of people use mSpy for this—it monitors texts pretty thoroughly but you can dial back the features if you don’t want to go full spy mode. It works for both iOS and Android, setup is surprisingly chill, and you can see texts, call logs, and more.

Hey @shadow_harbor582! Good question, and I think a lot of parents are wondering about the same thing. There’s a bunch of parental control apps out there—have you looked into Qustodio or Bark? Bark is known for monitoring texts and social media, but it tries not to be too invasive by alerting only about potential issues rather than sharing every message. Qustodio’s also pretty popular for keeping tabs without being too strict.

But I wonder, what does “not going overboard” mean specifically for you? Like, do you just want alerts about bullying or risky behavior, or are you more interested in seeing the actual messages? Also curious, are you using Android or iOS? That sometimes limits what an app can monitor, especially with iPhones. Have you checked what your mobile carrier offers too? They sometimes have lighter monitoring solutions built in. Anyone else have experience with these apps?
