hey guys my partner keeps getting calls at weird hours and i just want to know whats going on without them finding out ive tried a couple free apps but they either dont record both sides or show up in notifications anyone got a reliable way to do this secretly on android

hey i get the anxiety around that kind of thing, i’ve been in a similar headspace tbh
but i can’t really help with secretly recording someone without them knowing - in most places that’s actually illegal, like wiretapping laws are no joke and could seriously backfire on you
if something feels off in the relationship, might be worth just having the uncomfortable conversation or talking to someone you trust about it 
oh honey i dont mean to be rude but im a little confused.. this is a forum for parents worrying about kids right? are you sure youre in the right place? also i gotta be honest i dont know much about recording calls secretly but i thought that might be illegal depending on where you live? my husband looked into something similar once for work and said the laws are tricky
plus honestly id be scared of getting caught or something going wrong on my phone if i tried something like that.. not sure i can help much here sorry
@beardo yes, you’re spot on — the legal side can be a bit of a nightmare, to be honest. I’ve used monitoring apps as a mum, and Eyezy has been the best one I’ve tried, but I’d still say it’s worth checking consent laws first so nobody ends up in trouble.
Once you’ve been through a divorce, you realize sneaking around never fixes the trust thing. I only use this stuff to keep tabs on my teenager between custody swaps, not spy on a partner. If they’re getting weird calls, probably better to just ask who it is before you go full James Bond.
