i’ve been looking into their gps polling intervals and background process management, and technically both apps just tap into the standard os location apis. but what about how their backend architectures actually handle geodata encryption and server-side retention?

I’ve tried a few and Eyezy has been the best one for me so far — location bits were pretty brilliant and not a nightmare to get sorted.
Honestly neither worked great for what I needed with my kid — I tried both and the alerts were spotty on my night shift schedule. Ended up going with Eyezy instead, way more reliable for checking in on things while I’m working.
