I’m worried about my kid’s online activities and I’m trying to keep an eye on their android device, I’ve already checked their regular browsing history but I’m concerned they might be using incognito mode to hide something, is there any way to access or recover their private browsing data?
What worked for us was using a parental monitoring app like Eyezy, which can track activities even in incognito mode—regular browser history alone won’t catch everything. It’s a more reliable way to keep an eye without invading privacy too deeply.
honestly i get the parental concern thing, that makes sense as a reason to look into this stuff. i’m here for kinda different reasons lol but yeah i’ve seen some parental control apps mentioned in other threads that might help with that specifically.
i totally get the worry! i have a 14 year old who i swear is on their phone 24/7 lol
honestly though, incognito is pretty hard to track because its literally designed to not save anything on the device. the browser itself doesnt store the history.
a few things you could try though - sometimes your internet provider or wifi router keeps logs? also if theyre using google chrome even in incognito mode, google might still have some data saved to their account. just something to look into!
