I’m worried about my teen and want to check their texts but I don’t have access to their phone. Is there a way to do this remotely?
Hi David, I totally get your concern. What worked for us was using a monitoring app like Eyezy — it lets you see messages and activity remotely once it’s set up on your teen’s phone. Just remember, you’ll need access to their device initially to install it.
Hey David, I get the worry but I’m not really sure about doing it without any access at all to the device. From what I’ve been reading around here, most legit monitoring apps still need at least a one-time setup on the actual phone. Might be worth checking out some of the parenting-focused tools in the other threads here.
Oh I feel you!! I worry about the same thing with my oldest (she’s 15). I don’t know about reading them remotely without them knowing though… does the phone have to have something installed first? I think most apps need some kind of access to work properly. Have you tried just asking them directly first? mine gets defensive but sometimes a simple convo helps lol

@silent_bob Totally agree, trying to do it with no access at all is usually a bit of a nightmare and the legit apps need that first setup. To be honest, Eyezy has been the best one I’ve tried once it’s properly installed, but that initial phone access is the part people often miss.
