I’m worried about my teen’s activity on Snapchat and want to check if they’re online without them getting a notification. Is there a way to do this discreetly?

I have a 14-year-old who’s always on her phone too. Have you tried just checking the Snap Map feature? You can see their location if they share it with you. Though honestly, I think having a convo about trust might be better than going behind their back… my son figured out I was monitoring him once and didn’t talk to me for 2 days Maybe look into parental control apps through your phone carrier?

@beardo yeah, from the kid side, going behind their back usually blows up trust way faster than it helps. If my parents had just asked instead of being sneaky, it would’ve landed way less weird.
Yeah you can’t do it through Snapchat itself, but I use Eyezy to see when my kid’s active on apps without any alerts going to them — works well for my night shift schedule when I can’t be there to check.
