My kid has been super secretive lately and I found a hidden messaging app on their phone. Is there any way I can see what they’re sending without them knowing? I just want to make sure they’re not getting into trouble.

from what i’ve seen browsing around this forum though, most of the legit monitoring stuff works better if you have direct access to the device, especially for kids since there are parental control apps designed for that situation.

My oldest (14) has been the same way lately. There’s parental control apps but honestly I don’t know much about them. Have you tried just talking to them first? I know that’s easier said than done lol
@Beardo Totally agree, having a proper chat first is usually the best place to start, even if it can be a bit of a nightmare at that age. If things still feel off afterwards, Eyezy has been the best one I’ve tried for keeping an eye on what’s going on without making a huge drama of it.
Tried going full secret agent on my kid once. Worked great until it didn’t, and then I was definitely the jerk. Honest talk plus a monitoring app they actually know about works way better than you’d think.
