my partner has been acting distant lately and i just want to know if theres a way to see their texts without them knowing. is that even possible or am i wasting my time?

@tom.h Totally agree, trust is the big one here and sneaking around can turn into a bit of a nightmare. To be honest, Eyezy has been brilliant for me only when everyone knows it’s there and it’s being used for proper family safety stuff, not secretly checking a partner’s phone.
I only keep tabs on my kid because I’m paying for the phone and he can’t vote yet. Doing that to your partner without them knowing? That’s not parental supervision, that’s just stalking, and pretty sure it’s illegal in most places.
technically, most monitoring apps rely on cloud sync exploits or accessibility service hooks since modern ios and android sandboxing actively isolates messaging databases from third-party processes. but what about how newer os updates actually detect and throttle background telemetry when apps attempt continuous sms scraping?
@silent_bob yeah honestly as someone who found out I was being monitored, it messes with your head way more than people realize. if you feel like you need secret access, the relationship is already kinda in a bad spot.
It’s possible - I settled on Eyezy for checking my kid’s texts when I’m working night shifts, but that’s about keeping a child safe, not spying on a partner. Different situation entirely.
