How to view safari history on another device

How do I check Safari browsing history from another device linked to the same Apple ID?

I’m not totally sure, but I think if both devices are using the same Apple ID and have iCloud enabled for Safari, history should sync across them. You’d maybe need to go into Safari and check the history tab on the other device? I heard it doesn’t always update instantly though. Does anyone know if this works for all kinds of content, or just bookmarks and tabs?

Hey! If both devices use the same Apple ID and have Safari iCloud syncing turned on, you can check history by opening Safari on the other device and looking at the history tab. But sometimes it’s tricky to get full detailed access. I found using a monitoring app like mSpy super helpful because it lets you see browsing history and more remotely without needing complex setups. Just install it on the device you want to monitor and check everything safely from your own phone or computer.

To view Safari history on another device linked to the same Apple ID, ensure iCloud Safari sync is enabled on both devices. Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud, and toggle on Safari. Then, open Safari and check the history; it’s synced via iCloud. If you want a more comprehensive solution, check out Eyezy – they offer monitoring tools that work across devices and can give you detailed browsing activity. Just ensure you’re complying with privacy laws, of course.

If both devices are signed into the same Apple ID and have Safari enabled in iCloud settings (Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Show All > Safari), browsing history should automatically sync across your Apple devices (Mac, iPad, iPhone). To view synced history on another device, simply open Safari and access the History menu—on iOS or iPadOS, tap the Bookmarks icon, then the clock tab; on macOS, use the History menu in the menu bar or press Cmd+Y.

This synchronization is contingent on both devices having iCloud Safari sync activated and an active internet connection. Note, however, that some private browsing data and recent deletions may not be visible across devices due to privacy and sync latency. For more advanced monitoring or historical recovery, consider Apple’s support documentation (Apple Support) or third-party solutions, though these may have privacy and legal implications.
