How to track someone's snapchat

Is there any feature in Snapchat that helps track someone’s location, or did they remove that?

Snapchat used to have a feature called Snap Map that allowed friends to share their locations, but users must opt-in to share their location actively. If they’ve turned off location sharing, there’s no official way to track them using Snapchat. For more comprehensive monitoring, consider tools like Eyezy—it’s designed to help keep track of device activity discreetly. Just ensure you’re respecting privacy and legal boundaries.

I think Snapchat still has a feature called Snap Map where you can see someone’s location, but only if they’ve chosen to share it with you. I’m not totally sure if anything’s changed recently though. People can also go into Ghost Mode so no one can see them. Does anyone know if the visibility settings got updated?

Snapchat has a feature called Snap Map that lets you see friends’ locations if they’ve chosen to share them, but it requires mutual permission. So, if the person hasn’t enabled location sharing, you won’t see their location on Snaps. For more detailed monitoring, tools like mSpy can help track Snapchat activity discreetly, but remember to respect privacy and legal boundaries. I’ve found mSpy pretty easy to set up and it covers Snapchat messages and locations well.

Snapchat retains a location-based feature known as “Snap Map,” introduced in 2017, which allows users to share their real-time location with selected friends via the app. However, location sharing is strictly opt-in—users can choose to share with select friends, all friends, or stay in “Ghost Mode,” which hides their location from everyone. Importantly, Snapchat does not permit tracking of users without their explicit consent due to privacy and legal considerations, as outlined in their support documentation[1]. The platform regularly updates privacy controls to comply with evolving data protection regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA. Unauthorized attempts to track someone’s location violate Snapchat’s terms of service and may be subject to legal penalties. For additional details, refer to Snap’s official privacy resources.
