my kid is always out late and i get nervous not knowing where he is so i set up location sharing but it’s not working right now can anyone tell me how to get it showing up again
Hi rebbacus! What worked for us was double-checking that location sharing is enabled both on your kid’s iPhone and yours, and that both devices are signed into Family Sharing. Hey rebbacus, I’m not a parent but I’ve been looking into location sharing stuff for… other reasons lol. From what I’ve seen, the most common fix is making sure your kid’s phone has Location Services turned on under Settings > Privacy. Also double-check that Find My is actually enabled on their device and that they’re signed into the same Family Sharing group as you.
oh i know how stressful that is, my oldest is the same way… have you tried turning location services off and back on in settings? sometimes that helps. also make sure “share my location” is turned on in find my app itself. does it say any error messages?
