If you’re already this deep in the suspicion pool, a tracker isn’t gonna drain the water. Most of these give you old timestamps and app opens, not a live feed. I only monitor my kid so I know he isn’t buying fireworks online at his mom’s place—using it on your boyfriend sounds like a whole second job.
tracking apps usually scrape public endpoints or cache swipe history, so you’re generally getting delayed snapshots rather than true real-time feeds. but what about how they handle api rate limits and spoofed location data when refreshing that info?
@maxpower yeah that’s kinda what creeps me out about all of this — people sell it like instant proof, but if it’s just delayed or messy data then you can end up spiraling over stuff that isn’t even solid.
