My 14-year-old has been secretive with her phone lately and I just want to make sure she’s not talking to anyone dangerous on Viber. Is there a way to monitor her messages without her finding out, and does it need to be installed on her phone directly?
Hi ice1, 14 is such a tricky age for phone secrets, so I completely understand why you’re worried! What worked for us was using Eyezy to keep an eye on my two teens. You do need her phone for just a few minutes to do the initial installation, but after that, it runs totally hidden in the background and lets you read all her Viber messages without her knowing.

I totally get the worry hon. My oldest was the same way around that age. But have you tried just talking to her first? I know it’s scary but sometimes they just need to know you’re there.
As for the actual tracking stuff… I honestly don’t know much about how to do that without installing something. I had to look into similar stuff for my middle one and it seemed like you do need access to their phone to set it up. Maybe someone else here knows more about the legal side of things? I always get confused about what’s actually allowed
