I’m a parent trying to keep an eye on my teenager’s online activities and I’m wondering if the Family Link app can see their SMS conversations on their Android device, as I’ve already set it up to monitor their app usage and location. I’ve looked through the settings but couldn’t find any clear info on text message monitoring. Can anyone confirm if this feature is available?

I had the same issue with my oldest (shes 15) and was kinda disappointed about that too. You might need a different app for that specifically but im not super sure which ones are good.. sorry!

No, Family Link won’t show you texts — learned that the hard way after setting it all up on my kid’s phone. I ended up switching to Eyezy since it actually lets me see messages while I’m on night shifts and can’t check in person.
